Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Jammu on Friday night for a one-day election campaign for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Shah is scheduled to address five rallies across three districts on Saturday.
According to a senior BJP leader, Shah arrived from Delhi and proceeded directly to the State Guest House. His first rally will be in Mendhar, located in Poonch district, early on Saturday morning. He will then move to Surankot for another rally in the same district.
Following his engagements in Poonch, Shah will address rallies in Thanamandi, Rajouri, and Akhnoor in Jammu district. His campaign aims to bolster the BJP’s presence in these key regions ahead of the assembly elections.
In addition to Saturday’s rallies, Shah is also expected to address a gathering in the Nowshera constituency, represented by BJP state president Ravinder Raina, on Sunday. This marks a significant push in the party’s election campaign in the region
