Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on the Congress today, accusing the party of echoing Pakistan’s stance on Jammu and Kashmir. Referring to a recent statement by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, who called for the restoration of Article 370, Shah pointed out that Congress and the National Conference have made similar demands, aligning their views with those of Pakistan.

Shah further alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s party has consistently spoken in a tone that mirrors Pakistan’s, accusing them of siding with anti-national forces. He emphasized that the Congress and its allies have repeatedly shown an agenda that aligns with India’s adversaries. According to Shah, the statements coming from Pakistan validate that the Congress shares the same intentions as the neighboring country.

He declared that Congress and Pakistan’s hopes of restoring Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir are futile under the Modi government. Shah made it clear that the abrogation of Article 370 is final, and there will be no resurgence of terrorism in Kashmir. He reiterated the government’s commitment to a secure and united India, where divisive forces will not prevail.
