In a significant political development, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav joined hands with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the ‘Bharat Joko Nyaya Yatra’ in Agra today. This collaboration follows the earlier agreement between the two parties on seat distribution for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as workers from both the Samajwadi Party and Congress raised slogans in support of the unified front. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present at the event, adding to the formidable political presence.
Akhilesh Yadav seized the opportunity to target the government, emphasizing the unity of farmers against its policies. He rallied party workers, expressing confidence that the coalition government, once in power, would prioritize and respect the rights of farmers. Yadav criticized the BJP for allegedly neglecting the backward classes, Dalits, and minority communities.
As the ‘Bharat Joko Nyaya Yatra’ gains momentum, the collaborative efforts of Samajwadi Party and Congress are poised to shape the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh, with the promise of change and empowerment for the diverse sections of society.
