Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of hatching a conspiracy against its own members. His statement came after BJP MLA Sureshwar Singh from the Mehsi constituency in Bahraich filed a case against unidentified people, including Arpit Srivastava, the city president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
Akhilesh shared a media report about the incident on X (formerly Twitter), pointing out that the BJP’s actions in the Mehrajganj violence case reveal deeper internal conflicts within the party. He alleged that the BJP is trying to incite riots to gain power, and now, their own people are bringing these conspiracies to light through hidden cameras and other means.
The FIR filed by the BJP MLA has stirred controversy, as it highlights internal dissent and possible involvement of BJP members in orchestrating violence. Akhilesh Yadav’s comments have added fuel to the ongoing political tension, as the BJP has yet to respond to these serious allegations. The Mehrajganj violence case continues to be a point of contention in Uttar Pradesh’s political landscape.
