Bollywood actor Govinda has been discharged from Juhu’s Kriticare Hospital today, three days after being accidentally shot in the leg. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when a misfired pistol fell and discharged, injuring the actor as he was leaving for the airport.
Govinda underwent surgery on the same day and was seen leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, accompanied by his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. Speaking to reporters outside his home, the actor explained, “I was leaving home for a show in Kolkata. It was five o’clock in the morning, and suddenly the pistol fell and fired. I wondered what had happened, and when I looked down, I saw blood flowing. I made a video and then went to the hospital after consulting the doctor.”
According to Sunita Ahuja, the doctors have advised Govinda to rest for six weeks to allow for a full recovery. Despite the incident, the actor appeared in good spirits as he interacted with the media.
The family has expressed gratitude to fans for their support and well-wishes during this difficult time, assuring everyone that Govinda is on the road to recovery.
