Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann disclosed the names of candidates for most constituencies but held off on revealing those for Ludhiana and Jalandhar, stating that the announcements for these crucial seats would be made on April 16 via his official X portal. However, the suspense was lifted as the third list of candidates was released, featuring four prominent names.
Among these, Ashok Prashar Pappi has been named as the candidate for the Ludhiana seat, setting the stage for an intense electoral battle. With the Ludhiana constituency emerging as a focal point of political activity, all eyes are on the candidates and their campaigns as they vie for victory.
In addition to the Ludhiana candidate, Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar, Pawan Kumar Tinu, and Aman Sher Singh have been announced as candidates for the Ferozepur, Jalandhar, and Gurdaspur constituencies respectively. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already thrown its hat into the ring by nominating Ravneet Singh Bittu for the Ludhiana constituency.
