A Delhi court has denied relief to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in a case involving the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) related to the excise policy. As a result, Sisodia will remain in judicial custody until the next hearing scheduled for July 22. The court’s decision comes after arguments from both sides, with the judge ruling against granting any immediate reprieve to Sisodia.
The case has drawn attention due to its implications for the AAP leader, known for his prominent role in Delhi’s politics. Sisodia’s legal team is expected to continue presenting his defense during the upcoming hearing, aiming to secure his release or further legal recourse. The judicial custody means Sisodia will remain under the custody of judicial authorities until the court makes further determinations based on the proceedings.
