Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again received a death threat. Following the threat, security outside his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, has been increased. According to Mumbai Police, the threat message was sent via WhatsApp to the official helpline number of the Worli Transport Department.
The message contained serious threats, including one saying, “We will enter your house and kill you,” and another claiming that a bomb would be planted in Salman Khan’s car. Although the message did not mention the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, police officials say the language used was similar to earlier threats made to the actor.
In response, the police acted quickly and arrested a suspect from Vadodara, Gujarat. The accused has been identified as 26-year-old Mayank Pandya. Sources say Pandya sent the threatening message to the Mumbai Transport Department’s WhatsApp helpline. The message caused major concern, and an investigation was immediately launched.
Salman Khan and his family have been under threat for some time. This is the fifth threat he has received in the last two years. Last year, his home was targeted in a shooting incident, allegedly carried out by shooters linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Since then, Salman Khan’s security has been tightened, and he has been provided Y+ category protection.
The police are continuing their investigation to find out if there are any links between this latest threat and previous ones. The actor has not yet made any public comment on the incident. However, fans and well-wishers are hoping for his safety and are demanding strict action against those making such threats.
