The name of Delhi’s new Chief Minister is yet to be finalized, but preparations for the grand oath-taking ceremony are in full swing at Ramlila Maidan. According to sources, the event is scheduled for February 20 at 11 AM. Top BJP leaders, including Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, are expected to attend.

The BJP Legislature Party meeting, which was initially set for Monday, is now likely to take place on Wednesday, where the party will finalize its Chief Ministerial candidate.

Workers have been seen cleaning the roads, footpaths, and the ground at Ramlila Maidan, which can accommodate around 30,000 people. The boundary walls have also been freshly painted.

The event is expected to witness a high-profile guest list, including over 50 film stars and industrialists. Diplomats from major countries, farmer leaders from Delhi, and beneficiaries of central government schemes have also been invited. Spiritual leaders such as Baba Ramdev, Swami Chidanand, and Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri will also be present.

Musical performances are planned for the occasion, with singer Kailash Kher likely to perform. The BJP’s landslide victory in the Delhi elections, winning 48 out of 70 seats, has ended its 27-year wait for power in the capital.
