Several well-known entertainment personalities have reportedly received threatening emails. Among the targeted are comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, singer-comedian Sugandha Mishra, and choreographer Remo D’Souza. The Amboli police have registered an FIR after actor Rajpal Yadav received an email from a person named Vishnu on December 14, 2024.
Initial investigations indicate that the email originated from Pakistan. Following this, choreographer Remo D’Souza also filed a complaint regarding similar threats. Authorities are currently working to trace the source of these emails and ensure the safety of the celebrities.
These incidents have raised concerns about the safety and security of entertainment industry figures. Kapil Sharma, Sugandha Mishra, and others have not commented publicly on the matter yet. Meanwhile, the Amboli police have assured that strict measures will be taken to identify and take action against the culprits.
As investigations continue, the entertainment fraternity stands in solidarity, urging the authorities to address the issue and provide protection to those targeted. This series of events has once again highlighted the vulnerability of public figures to online threats and the need for stronger cyber security measures.
