A case of alleged fraud has been registered against Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Moeed Khan, who is already an accused in a rape case. The Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch manager, Sriprakash, lodged the complaint, alleging that Moeed Khan provided false plot numbers while renting out a branch space in his building, which has now been demolished. This fraud resulted in the PNB branch suffering financial losses during relocation. The issue surfaced when the bank received a notice from the administration, revealing the incorrect plot information. According to Sriprakash, the discrepancy caused significant inconvenience and monetary loss for the bank as they had to move operations unexpectedly.

ACP (Urban) Madhuvan Kumar Singh stated that the First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in this regard at the Pura Qalandar police station and further legal action is being undertaken. The new allegations add to Moeed Khan’s existing troubles, as he is already facing legal proceedings in a rape case. The incident has once again put Moeed Khan under the scanner, raising serious questions about his activities and accountability. The case is likely to have further ramifications as investigations continue, potentially leading to more charges against the accused leader.
