Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband, Robert Vadra, has accused the BJP of orchestrating the release of Dera Sirsa chief Gurimat Ram Rahim and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal to influence the Haryana elections. Vadra alleged that the BJP’s motive behind releasing these leaders was to harm the Congress’ chances in the upcoming polls.

In an interview with PTI Videos, Vadra condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top BJP leaders for using his name in an “insulting manner.” He expressed his displeasure with the alleged political tactics, suggesting that the BJP sees Ram Rahim and Kejriwal as tools to undermine Congress’ support.

Vadra pointed out that Ram Rahim, who is serving a prison sentence for murder and rape, was released on parole just 20 days before the elections, insinuating that the BJP intended for him to campaign in Haryana. Additionally, Vadra claimed that Arvind Kejriwal’s release during the election period was also a deliberate move by the BJP to influence the results.

The Congress leader asserted that the BJP believes these actions could damage Congress’ prospects of victory in the Haryana elections, indicating an intensified political battle as the state heads to the polls.
