The Supreme Court of India has adjourned the hearing in the Kolkata rape and murder case involving a trainee doctor from Government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. During the hearing, the bench reviewed the status report of the ongoing Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe and acknowledged that crucial clues have emerged from the investigation conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The court previously remarked on September 17 that the findings from the CBI were deeply disturbing.
