On the second day of the ongoing first Test match between India and Bangladesh, India posted a strong total of 376 in their first innings. In response, Bangladesh struggled and was bowled out for just 149, falling far behind India’s score.
India’s bowlers put up an impressive performance, with the spinners and pacers working in tandem to dismiss the Bangladesh side. Bangladesh’s batting lineup couldn’t resist the pressure and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
In their second innings, India came out to bat again. However, they lost three early wickets, ending the day at 81/3. Despite the loss of a few wickets, India is in a commanding position with a healthy lead over Bangladesh. The match is well within India’s control, but they will need to build on their second-innings score on day three to seal the game.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, faces an uphill battle and will need a remarkable effort to come back into the match. Day three promises to be crucial for both teams.
