The senior BJP leader added, “I asked why you would support me, and why I would take your support? Becoming Prime Minister is not my goal in life. I am committed to my organization, and I will not compromise on my principles. My determination is most important to me.”

Gadkari emphasized the importance of ethics, both in journalism and politics, during his speech. He highlighted that integrity and moral values should be the foundation of any profession, including public service.

At the event, Gadkari also honored four senior journalists with the prestigious Anilkumar Award for 2023-24, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the field of journalism. He praised their dedication and commitment to upholding the standards of the profession.
