Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally in Jammu’s Doda district, declared that terrorism is on the verge of ending in Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that his government has fostered new leadership to combat the region’s longstanding issue of dynastic politics, which has harmed its development.
Modi emphasized that after India’s independence, Jammu and Kashmir became a target for foreign forces, while political families weakened the region from within by prioritizing their own children. According to Modi, this approach prevented fresh leadership from emerging, hindering progress.
