However, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced that no representative from their party would attend due to their observance of July 21 as Martyrs’ Day. Derek O’Brien, leader of the TMC parliamentary party in the Rajya Sabha, has communicated this to Rijiju.

The Monsoon Session of Parliament will run from July 22 to August 12, with the Union Budget being presented on July 23. This session, the India alliance of opposition parties is expected to address several issues, including the NEET dispute, the situation in Manipur, and inflation. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response to the debate on the vote of thanks for the President’s speech, there was significant uproar in both Houses. Opposition parties raised slogans in the Lok Sabha demanding a statement on Manipur and staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha.
