The rebel faction of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced plans to intensify its reform movement under the leadership of Bibi Jagir Kaur Ji. The faction aims to bring about significant changes within the party and its functioning.
Gurpratap Singh Wadala has been appointed as the convener of this reform movement. In his new role, Wadala emphasized the importance of collective decision-making and the formation of a new committee to steer the movement forward. He called upon all members to actively participate in the process and work together towards common goals.
In his appeal, Wadala urged the celebration of the centenaries of great personalities, highlighting their contributions and inspiring unity among the party members. He stressed the need for everyone to contribute to the movement and support the initiatives being proposed.
The reform movement led by Bibi Jagir Kaur Ji and Gurpratap Singh Wadala seeks to address internal issues within the Shiromani Akali Dal and pave the way for a more cohesive and forward-thinking organization. Their efforts are focused on fostering unity, honoring the party’s rich legacy, and ensuring that the party remains a strong and relevant force in Punjab politics.
