In a startling incident at Jaipur Airport, tensions escalated between a CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel and a SpiceJet crew member, resulting in an assault captured on CCTV. The altercation unfolded early morning when the crew member, identified as Anuradha Rani, attempted to enter restricted areas without proper screening.
According to ASI Giriraj Prasad, stationed at the vehicle gate, Anuradha Rani insisted on entering the airside without undergoing mandatory checks, citing the absence of female staff for frisking. Despite repeated instructions to abide by security protocols, she became increasingly agitated, leading to a heated argument with the ASI.
The situation took a violent turn when Anuradha Rani allegedly slapped ASI Giriraj Prasad, prompting immediate intervention by CISF female staff, Hansa and Constable Poonam Kumari. They managed to restrain Anuradha Rani and brought the situation under control. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, clearly showing Anuradha Rani assaulting the CISF personnel.
In response to the complaint filed by ASI Giriraj Prasad, Jaipur Airport police have registered an FIR against Anuradha Rani. She has been arrested and charged with assault under relevant sections of the law. Both parties have exchanged allegations, with Anuradha Rani accusing ASI Giriraj Prasad of misconduct during the confrontation.
The incident has raised concerns about airport security protocols and the behavior of airline crew members towards security personnel. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the sequence of events and ensure appropriate action is taken.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining discipline and adherence to security procedures at all times within sensitive areas of airports to prevent such altercations from occurring in the future.
