In response to the upcoming UPSC preliminary examination, the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) date has been rescheduled to June 18, announced UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar. Originally slated for June 16, the decision to postpone the exam was made collaboratively by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and UGC in consideration of candidate feedback.
The UGC-NET examination, a crucial milestone for aspiring academics and researchers, will now take place from June 16 to June 18, 2024. The adjustment aims to accommodate candidates preparing for the UPSC preliminary examination, ensuring they have adequate time to focus on both assessments effectively.
Jagadesh Kumar emphasized the importance of listening to candidates’ suggestions and responding proactively to their needs. The rescheduling reflects a commitment to facilitating a conducive testing environment and enabling candidates to perform at their best.
As aspirants gear up for these significant examinations, the revised UGC NET dates provide relief and flexibility, enabling them to manage their preparation strategies more efficiently.
