In a shocking verdict, the court has condemned Neelam, a neighbor from Shimlapuri area, to death for the heinous act of burying two-and-a-half-year-old Dilrose alive. Over 25 witnesses testified to the gruesome crime, which occurred on November 28 in Salem Tabri area.
Neelam, on a scooter, abducted Dilrose, digging a pit to bury her alive. The motive behind this horrific act, as revealed by the victim’s father, Harpreet Singh, was Neelam’s jealousy over the toys he bought for his daughter. Singh recounted how Neelam harbored resentment towards the gifts, ultimately leading to the brutal murder of Dilrose.
The court’s decision marks a significant moment in the pursuit of justice for the innocent victim, Dilrose, whose life was tragically cut short due to Neelam’s jealousy-driven actions.
