In a significant breakthrough in the case of a 10-year-old girl’s tragic death due to cake poisoning in Patiala, the police have apprehended three suspects. The arrests were facilitated by a trap set up by the victim’s family, who ordered another cake, leading to the capture of the accused. The family initially detained a young man delivering the cake and later approached the bakery owners, although the bakery proprietor remains at large.
The arrested individuals, identified as Ranjith, Pawan Mishra, and Vijay, include a Zomato delivery person and two others. The police are set to present all three accused in court and seek their remand, anticipating crucial revelations.
