Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, in a candid interview with a news channel, expressed grave concerns over the recent actions taken against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the BJP-led government. Mann lambasted the BJP for allegedly granting political tickets to individuals with dubious backgrounds, questioning the party’s integrity and commitment to justice. He further accused the BJP of attempting to undermine the constitution and asserted that agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were operating at the behest of the ruling party.

Undeterred by the government’s authoritarian tactics, Mann declared his party’s unwavering resolve to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections vigorously. Expressing confidence in the judiciary, Mann reassured supporters that Kejriwal would soon be vindicated.

In a poignant moment, Mann highlighted Kejriwal’s sacrifices, emphasizing his decision to leave a lucrative career as an Income Tax Commissioner to serve the public. He dismissed any insinuations of financial impropriety, asserting Kejriwal’s unwavering integrity. Mann concluded by challenging the BJP’s fear of smaller parties’ rapid growth, signaling a determined stance against oppressive regimes.
