In a significant political move ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP Member of Parliament from Hisar, Brijender Singh, tendered his resignation from the party’s primary membership and stepped down from the Lok Sabha. Notably, he crossed party lines to join the Congress.

Brijender Singh, the son of influential Haryana Jat leader and former Union Minister Birendra Singh, cited “political reasons” for his departure from the BJP. The development marks a notable shift in political allegiances as Singh embraced the Congress party.
