In response to the call from the United Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, farmers in Punjab have organized dharnas at 52 locations, aiming to ‘stop the train’ as a part of their ongoing protest. The decision to alter the ‘Delhi Kuch’ program and shift the agitation to the Shambhu border led to further planning for protests in the region.

Today, at Shambhu border, farmer leaders decided to stage a dharna on the railway line in Sanjarpur village. Sarwan Singh Pandher, a prominent farmer leader, shared details of the decisions made during the meetings, emphasizing the responsibilities assigned to leaders for the upcoming sit-ins.

The shift in strategy signifies the steadfast commitment of the farmers to their cause, and the decision to halt train services underscores the intensity of their protest. As tensions continue to escalate, the farmers are resolute in their demand for the repeal of contentious agricultural laws, prompting widespread attention and support for their movement.
