Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a Council of Ministers meeting, focusing on the future trajectory outlined in ‘Developed India: 2047.’ Emphasizing the need for widespread public support during elections, Modi encouraged his Cabinet colleagues to engage with the people actively. Contributing ₹2,000 to BJP’s ‘Donation for Nation Building’ campaign, the Prime Minister gears up for an extensive 10-day, 29-program tour across 12 states and union territories starting March 4.
During the meeting, immediate implementation of a 100-day agenda post the May government formation was discussed. Modi urged ministers to secure public backing and highlighted his administration’s efforts towards development and societal welfare. The ‘Developed India’ roadmap, crafted over two years, adopts a ‘whole of government’ strategy, integrating insights from ministries, state governments, educationists, industrial organizations, and youth suggestions.
The roadmap envisions progress in economic growth, ease of life, business facilitation, infrastructure, and social welfare. Ministers shared perspectives in what may be the last meeting before the Lok Sabha elections. This comprehensive initiative reflects the government’s commitment to fostering national development and well-being. -PTI
