The Punjab School Education Board has declared that the Class 5 Annual Board Exams are scheduled to take place from March 7 to March 14, conducted during the morning session. Ahead of the exams, on March 2 and 3, the board will distribute question papers and center superintendent’s packets. Special instructions have been issued to District Education Officers (Elementary Education) to ensure the proper conduct of examinations.
In adherence to Covid-19 guidelines from the Punjab Government, the board emphasizes safety measures for the exams. The duty of invigilators will be assigned using the triangle method, including staff from government, aided, recognized, and associated schools under the cluster. Only one examinee is permitted in the washroom at a time, and students are allowed to bring water in transparent bottles.
To maintain security and fairness, examinees are instructed not to share belongings. After the exams, invigilator staff will mark answer books, and center head teachers will upload subject marks on the online web application the same day. Self-examination centers have been established for the 5th class annual exams in March 2024, ensuring a streamlined and secure examination process for students.
