In a heart-wrenching incident, 22 individuals, including 8 children, lost their lives when a tractor-trolley overturned and plunged into a pond in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. The tragedy unfolded on the Patiali-Daryavganj road, where the vehicle carrying the victims was en route to the Ganga river in the Patiali area for a bathing excursion.
A senior police officer reported that the accident occurred during the journey, leading to the devastating loss of lives. The victims were families and individuals looking forward to a day of relaxation by the river when the unforeseen disaster struck.
Approximately 10 people who sustained injuries in the incident have been admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. The severity of their injuries is yet to be disclosed, but medical teams are working diligently to provide the necessary care.

Each family of the deceased will receive Rs 2 lakh, and Rs 50 thousand will be provided to each injured individual.
