Tractor-Trolleys Damaged, Batteries Stolen, and Water Supply Tainted: Farmers Speak Out In a disturbing turn of events at the Khanuri border, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher disclosed the extent of damage inflicted on their tractor-trolleys by the Haryana Police. Late at night, the farmers found their essential machinery extensively vandalized, rendering their tractors undriveable.

Pandher revealed that not only were the tractors damaged, but the batteries were also removed, further crippling their ability to continue with their agricultural activities. Shockingly, he claimed that something had been mixed into their drinking water tanks, raising concerns about potential health hazards for those consuming the water.

Expressing dismay at the hostile treatment, Pandher emphasized that such actions by the government towards its own farmers were highly inappropriate. He underscored the significance of the tractor-trolleys, stating that these machines play a crucial role in crop cultivation, ultimately ensuring food for the nation.

Amidst these challenges, the farmers’ movement gained a new supporter in Maninder Singh, who resigned from his position in the country’s army to join the cause. The decision to halt the march to Delhi for two days was prompted by the tragic death of 21-year-old Shubhakaran in the firing by Haryana Police at the Khanuri border.

As the farmers regroup and assess the damages, they plan to resume their march towards Delhi on February 24. The incident at Khanuri border sheds light on the ongoing struggles faced by farmers and the growing tension between the agricultural community and law enforcement agencies
