Singh, describing Nath as the “third son” of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, highlighted Nath’s extensive political career within the Congress, holding key positions such as Chief Minister, Union Minister, AICC General Secretary, and Member of Parliament. Singh expressed confidence in Nath’s character, suggesting that he could effectively serve in agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax Department (IT), or the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) due to his ability to withstand external pressures.
