In a shocking incident in New Shakti Nagar area of Ludhiana, miscreants targeted a group of youths for refusing to give free burgers. The assailants armed with sharp weapons not only attacked but also robbed one of the victims. The victim, who was enjoying a burger with close friends, was denied the free burger when an unknown person demanded a free burger, after which the victim was attacked by some unknown youths. The victims sustained multiple injuries in the violent attack by the miscreants. The incident drew public attention as a crowd gathered, prompting the assailants to flee the scene.
The victim reported the incident to the Tibba police station, due to which a case has been registered against four unidentified youths. The complaint describes the severity of the attack and the subsequent theft of cash and a gold chain from the victim. In a quick response, the police succeeded in nabbing one of the accused, identified as Kamal, while efforts are on to trace and nab the rest of the accused. The community is reeling with shock and dismay at the audacious nature of the attack, stressing the need for increased vigilance and security measures in the area.
